The AAA Southern New England Traffic Safety Department offers community outreach programs that help spread the word about safe driving, walking and bicycling for people of all ages. The Traffic Safety Department works with local police departments, school and community centers to reach as many citizens as possible. We are willing to work with specific organizations to tailor courses to your needs.

babyincarseatIn January, the 30th anniversary of the passage of the nation's first child safety seat law (Tennessee in 1978) was recognized throughout the country. Rhode Island is among 38 states with laws mandating the use of booster seats, with legislation pending in Massachusetts. Parents can do their part by making sure their children are properly restrained each and every time they leave their driveway.
