Gas Prices Continue Uphill Climb, Says AAA

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are up an average of nine cents this week, the eighth straight week of increases, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s June 8 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.58 per gallon, up nine cents from last week and 92 cents since the start of the year. The current price is three cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $2.61. At this point last year the average price had reached $4.07, leaving today’s price $1.49 less than a year ago at this time.
The range in prices in the latest local AAA survey for unleaded regular is 15 cents, from a low of $2.519 to a high of $2.669. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.

Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve

Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.619 ($2.519-$2.699)/$2.579 ($2.529-$2.619)
