Gas Prices Fall Once Again, Says AAA

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are down another four cents this week, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s June 8 survey of prices in Rhode Island finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.75 per gallon, dropping four cents from last week, and 22 cents in the last month. The current price is three cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $2.72. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $2.58—17 cents lower than today’s numbers.
The range in prices in the latest local AAA survey for unleaded regular is 38 cents, from a low of $2.599 to a high of $2.979. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.
Today’s local gas prices and their ranges are as follows:
Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.759 ($2.599-$2.979)/$2.749 ($2.699-$2.789)
Midgrade Unleaded
$2.919 ($2.699-$3.089)/$2.929 ($2.79-$3.049)
Premium Unleaded
$3.039 ($2.799-$3.219)/$3.029 ($2.899-$3.149)
Diesel
$3.029 ($2.989-$3.099)/$2.989 ($2.989-$2.989)
