Gas Prices Up For Third Week, Says AAA

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island have gone up an average of two cents per gallon in the last week, the third consecutive week of increases, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s May 4 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.10 per gallon, up two cents from last week. The price has risen five cents over the last month, and is three cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $2.07. Today’s price is $1.50 less than the $3.60 found a year ago.
The range in prices in the latest local AAA survey for unleaded regular is 15 cents, from a low of $2.049 to a high of $2.199. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.

Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.109 ($2.049-$2.199)/$2.119 ($2.089-$2.169)
Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.239 ($2.159-$2.359)/$2.239 ($2.209-$2.269)
Premium Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.349 ($2.199-$2.479)/$2.339 ($2.309-$2.369)
Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.439 ($2.349-$2.699)/$2.479 ($2.459-$2.499)
