Gas Prices Fall Four Cents, Says AAA
(posted by Public Affairs on September 21 @ 11:24 )
For the third straight week, gasoline prices in Massachusetts have fallen, this time by an average of four cents, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s September 21 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.569 per gallon, down four cents from last week and eight cents in the last three weeks. The current price is one cent above the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.55, and is 99 cents less than the $3.55 found this time a year ago.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 54 cents, from a low of $2.359 to a high of $2.899. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.
