Gas Prices Down Two Cents, Says AAA

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are down another two cents this week, the eighth consecutive week of decreases, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s September 10 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.659 per gallon, two cents less than last week and 20 cents less than a month ago. Massachusetts is currently 12 cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $2.779. A year ago at this time the average price was $2.649.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 40 cents, from a low of $2.519 to a high of $2.919. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.
Today’s local gas prices and their ranges are as follows:
Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve

Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.799 ($2.619-$3.299)/$3.029 ($2.799-$3.289)

$2.919 ($2.719-$3.599)/$3.129 ($2.819-$3.389)
Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.939 ($2.799-$3.199)/$2.969 ($2.799-$3.199)
