Gas Prices Up For Fourth Week, Says AAA

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have gone up an average of two cents per gallon in the last week, the fourth consecutive week of increases, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s May 4 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.039 per gallon, up two cents from last week. The price has risen eight cents over the last month, and is four cents below the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.07. Today’s price is $1.53 less than the $3.56 found this time a year ago.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 25 cents, from a low of $1.949 to a high of $2.199. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.

Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.039 ($1.949-$2.199)/$2.079 ($2.019-$2.099)
Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.159 ($2.029-$2.399)/$2.209 ($2.119-$2.299)
Premium Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.269 ($2.149-$2.519)/$2.279 ($2.219-$2.399)
Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.469 ($2.199-$2.699)/$2.459 ($2.399-$2.499)
