Gas Prices Reach $3.90, Says AAA

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts continue to increase rapidly and by large amounts, up an average of 15 cents in just the last week, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s May 26 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.909 per gallon, 15 cents more than last week and 36 cents in just the last month. Massachusetts is currently three cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $3.939. A year ago at this time the average price in Massachusetts was $3.049.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 36 cents, from a low of $3.739 to a high of $4.099. Diesel jumped 28 cents last week to $4.88. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.

Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$4.019 ($3.839-$4.199)/$4.109 ($3.999-$4.239)
Premium Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$4.129 ($3.939-$4.299)/$4.229 ($4.099-$4.339)
Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$4.889 ($4.719-$5.099)/$4.899 ($4.799-$4.999)
