| Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are unchanged this week, and remain at its high point for 2008, according to AAA Southern New England. AAA’s April 7 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.149 per gallon, the same price as last week. Massachusetts is currently 19 cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $3.339. A year ago at this time the average price in Massachusetts was $2.689. The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 36 cents, from a low of $3.019 to a high of $3.379. Diesel, at $4.13, is one cent more than last week. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.
