Today’s local gas prices and their ranges are as follows: Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve $3.389 ($3.259-$3.599)/$3.509 ($3.399-$3.749) Midgrade Unleaded $3.499 ($3.339-$3.709)/$3.639 ($3.499-$3.949) Premium Unleaded $3.609 ($3.439-$3.999)/$3.739 ($3.599-$4.049) Diesel $4.349 ($4.199-$4.499)/$4.409 ($4.349-$4.509) AAA Fuel Saving Tip of the Week This is National Tire Safety Week, and AAA reminds motorists that under-inflated tires can cut fuel economy as much as two percent per pound of pressure below the recommended level. Estimates are that just 15 percent of drivers properly check their tire inflation pressure, though more than 60 percent recognize checking pressure as a top fuel saving tip. Tire inflation pressure should be checked at least once a month, and should be checked when the tires are cold or haven’t been driven for at least three hours. And remember, use the correct inflation pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, not the pressure listed on the tire sidewall.
