Gas Prices Up Two More Cents, Says AAA

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have risen for the second consecutive week, leaving prices 14 cents higher than at the start of the year, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s April 12 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.769 per gallon, up two cents from last week. The current price is ten cents below the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.86. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $1.96, 80 cents lower than today’s average.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 35 cents, from a low of $2.599 to a high of $2.949. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.
Today’s local gas prices and their ranges are as follows:
Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve

Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.879 ($2.759-$3.079)/$3.009 ($2.959-$3.069)
Premium Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.989 ($2.859-$3.299)/$3.109 ($3.059-$3.169)
Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$3.049 ($2.929-$3.199)/$3.109 ($3.089-$3.149)
