GAS PRICES UP THREE CENTS, SAYS AAA

For the third week in row, gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up, this week edging up three cents, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s November 2 survey of prices in the Bay State finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.639 per gallon, rising three cents from last week. The current price is six cents below the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.69. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $2.45, 18 cents lower than today’s average.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 45 cents, from a low of $2.459 to a high of $2.909. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.
Today’s local gas prices and their ranges are as follows:
Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.639 ($2.459-$2.909)/$2.719 ($2.699-$2.779)
Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.759 ($2.559-$3.009)/$2.889 ($2.799-$2.999)
Premium Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.859 ($2.639-$3.199)/$2.969 ($2.899-$3.099)
Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$2.839 ($2.699-$2.959)/$2.929 ($2.899-$2.979)
