Gas Prices Up Two More Cents, Says AAA

For the second consecutive week, gasoline prices in Massachusetts have increased, today by an average of two cents per gallon, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s January 7 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.059 per gallon, up two cents from last week and five cents in the last two weeks. Massachusetts is currently five cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $3.109. A year ago at this time the average price in Massachusetts was $2.349.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 29 cents, from a low of $2.969 to a high of $3.259. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.
Today’s local gas prices and their ranges are as follows:
Regular Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve

Midgrade Unleaded - Self Serve/Full Serve
$3.179 ($3.019-$3.359)/$3.349 ($3.159-$3.699)

$3.289 ($3.119-$3.459)/$3.439 ($3.259-$3.799)
Diesel - Self Serve/Full Serve
$3.559 ($3.499-$3.699)/$3.569 ($3.499-$3.699)
