AAA’s January 5 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $1.629 per gallon, the same price as last week. The current price is five cents below the national average for self serve unleaded of $1.67, and the price is $1.43 less than the $3.05 found this time a year ago.
